I interviewed at Figma (London, England) in Dec 2020
Interview
1st step - video call with recruiter. While i was excited about the role and the company, the interview was focused on why I want to get this job as in the recruiter's opinion it was a step back in my career (which is not true).
2nd step - Interview witch CS TL, a girl with no empathy at all, just interested in making questions from a list and getting straight answers, no chances to build any kind of human connection or really know each other. Again most of the questions were focused on why I want to do a step back, despite I was fully prepared on the company products, values and opportunities. I guess she didn't like that I was willing to grow in the company as she mentioned that there will not be any growing opportunity for somebody in my role until 2022 as there are already more experienced agents (weirdest reply I ever got during a interview).
The interview was scheduled to last 1 hour but - as she run out of questions quickly - it was about the end after 25 minutes. She didn't even ask me if I had questions, I had to ask if I could have some.
The weirdest and most terrible interview I ever done.
As expected after a week they rejected me with a template. I asked for a feedback and another template was provided.
It's really a shame as the company looks nice, the product great, but the new UK staff is horrible.

Question 1
Questions about the values. Questions about a time when you made you team happy.
