Went for an in person walk around after being offered the job and it was scheduled to be a half hour walk around. I dressed up, did makeup, got there ten minutes early (7:50 am). Walkaround was great, I enjoyed speaking to everyone and seeing the company. I asked questions and everyone seemed to really appreciate me being there. After about 40 minutes (of which I was then late to my full time current job) I was asked what I thought. I responded enthusiastically about the position and said I'd reach out that night with a response and that I really enjoyed it. Everyone told me that was perfectly fine and great and they looked forward to it. I messaged my temp agency a few hours later saying I was ready to accept the position and was promptly informed Ferrandino and Son moved forward with someone else due to my taking too long to decide. I was upset as I was ten minutes from putting in my two weeks notice but I will take this as a blessing in disguise. Office was lovely, everyone was super friendly and nice, but I would have preferred to have been told waiting was not an option as I now wasted my morning before work and showed up late.
