I applied online and was asked to complete an on-demand questionnaire for initial screening. The hiring manager reached out to me and scheduled 30 minutes interview. The hiring manager was kind and engaging and shared insightful information about the role and the culture of the company.
The second interview was with the director and it was scheduled for 30 minutes but took only half of the time.
The director asked me only two questions and she didn't bother to keep eye contact with me while I was talking. She was looking in different direction probably at another screen (and no she was not taking notes). It was very obvious she had no interest to listen. Probably I was not the right fit for their needs which is okay, however, not showing respect is not acceptable.
I didn’t get an offer which is fine because I don’t see myself working with management that does not respect their candidates.
