Contacted by Human Resources Recruiter after submitting my resume online. The key to the initial contact appeared to be the employee referral not my background and experience as it related to the job. I was invited to participate in a telephone screen with a human resources representative inorder to determine if a fit really existed. After about 20 minutes of dialogue it was determinedthat there was indeed a fit and the recruiter then assured me that my resume would be submitted to the hiring manager and recommended for consideration for the Product Manager position.

Management does not know how to interview and bring on the right people. They only try to hire to fill in seats. They are incompetent on the work and actually expect to hire someone when they do not know the work themselves just stating to figure it out. Really?
