Spoke with a recruiter for a 2-month copywriter position. They were very impressed with my experience and wanted to recommend me. But you expect me to drive up to the Jax Town Center M - F, work in-office 8 - 5, and only pay me $20 - $25 per hour? That's insulting. Yeah I withdrew myself. Forget you.

Interview
I applied on career builder. I was emailed within a day and was asked to interview within a couple more days. I interviewed with the copy manager and team lead. I was hired two days later. They did not drug test and things were fairly informal.

I can't say there was anything extremely difficult or unexpected. Just be prepared to talk about your writing abilities and experience. They ask you to bring 2-3 writing samples.
