I didn't know what to expect, as this is formally Football Fanatics and their Glassdoor review's weren't good. However my impression after the interview process, was that they seem to be a great company on the rise. I first was called for a 30 minute technical interview. The interviewer asked me one personal question and then got straight down to business. The questions asked were if I knew about a certain technology and then how I could use it in a scenario. The final question was an algorithm question. I was an invited to a second interview that was two hours long. The offices were at an unassuming office park, but they were very nice and open on the inside. Fanatics has grown so much that they took up several of the spaces. There was a very positive vibe inside the development office, as everyone was dressed casually, and seemed to be in a good mood. The layout was open with everybody side by side on a desk. The interview room was a small conference room that was uncomfortably warm. After some introductions I was grilled for an hour by four developers. The questions were rapid fire and I actually had quite a bit of fun. I was then interviewed by members of QA. It was a lot of scenario questions, such as "what would you do if somebody pulled you off of a project because you had a bunch of errors?" I really had a hard time with this portion because I really hadn't prepared for so much of this type of questioning. I finally had a short interview with one of the managers. It was just a few short scenario questions. A few days later I was contacted by my recruited that I did not get the job, and she gave me specific reasons why which is nice to have. Despite not getting the job, it was a positive experience.
