It was nice, smooth, and easy. It was a three rounds interview. The mask mandate is an interesting topic that has taken the world by storm. We talk about masks everywhere, and we see people mask up on social media, in magazines, on TV and everywhere you can think of. I personally, have been handed a mask at the entrance of many businesses, or at many public places when I have forgotten to bring one with me for what ever reason.
This mask mandate began in the middle of the pandemic, and was widely embraced mainly because, it was thought at first that it was the cure or a remedy to the pandemic. Unfortunately, the majority of the population came to realize soon enough that it was not enough to stop the progress of the pandemic.People continued becoming infected and even dying daily despite the use of masks. After two years of having to wear a mask as soon as you step outside of your door, I believe that the fact that many states are rescinding the mask mandate this month and next month, will bring back a sense of living a normal life once again. A life that I have been missing for sometime now. I remember the first time I saw the entire face of my son's instructor during the parent teacher conferences. Her mask was accidentally not covering her face, and then I realized that I didn’t recognize her because she looked so different. Ironically, my wife had the same impression. I believe that we are winning this battle against COVID-19 and all its variants and it is time to enjoy life as it used to be.
