Fairfest Media interview questions

I was shortlisted after my portfolio was submitted. My interview was taken by a foreigner. The interview went well, he appreciated my work and said that he was convinced with my profile. he did not give any promises yet he got my hopes up. He said that he will have to take the decision really soon as he was going back to his own country. He told me to wait one week for the update. After one week, I got another mail stating that they want one more week. I waited again but there was no reply after that. His phone switched off and no mail replies. I'm only asking to give me an update on whatever the decision was. Even if it was negative, it would've allowed me to plan other opportunities. This gave me a really bad impression of the company.
