I was told this position was NOT a sales position but it is. Basically any name they’re hiring for will be a sales position and you would have to work your way up for anything else. A promotions coordinator should not be involved in sales but I was told all these positions intertwine anyway. The assistant manager was very unprofessional and I could sense that in the work environment too. They were cussing and complaining about other employees around me. I could feel the manager belittling me with the way they were speaking. You’ll get a job offer if you are motivated to do it and at least outgoing. But the job is basically going to department stores to sell their product. 40+ hours a week and you’ll be standing the majority of the time. These kinds of jobs it’s very rare to actually make sales, knowing from other people’s experiences, so I did not want to waste more of my time and declined the offer. I was told you’ll basically hear no from customers 99% of the time but it’s up to you to talk to a lot of people so you’ll get that 1% that’ll say yes. They show you the numbers on how much you COULD make and they make it seem so simple but honestly it’s not. Don’t fall for it.

I applied and got a call with in 48 hours. I was asked a few questions over the phone and then was set up with an interview with the hiring manager. Over all the process was pretty quick and effective.
