Three stages recruitment.
First one was with HR and head of department. Went well. I Ticked all their boxes. 1:30 minister ( 4 hours preparation for the interview)
Second stage they asked me to do a report for them. Spend 5 hours to do 4 pages assessment.
Final stage got invited to their office.:
On the day I found out I had to do 30 minutes presentation. Apparently the recruiter forgot to let me know.
Spent 1 hour to pre produce a data analysis and presentation. Followed by 1 hour interview. I had to travel to their office in twickenham. Which took me 1.5 hour. And end of interview both interviewer said to me I seems the best candidate but they only have one person more person to interview.
And guess what happened… one short email saying I was not successful. No feedback. Nothing. I called and emailed them and asked for feedback. They just ignored and ghosted me.
When they approached me I told them I am happy where I am now. But willing to consider their vacancy as long as they are not going to be time wasters. Which they assured me that they are not.
