I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ExxonMobil (Nashville, TN) in Oct 2018
Interview
Applied via campus job fair for a full-time position as an new-graduate engineer. Interviewed with the recruiter within the next couple of days. Interview was entirely behavioral. STAR-type questions and pretty straightforward review of my resume. I had a nice conversation with the recruiter and she told me to expect an email from a regional office within the next couple of weeks (basically, the recruiter marks resumes on campus and sends them to different divisions she thinks will be a good fit for the applicant). I never heard back from a separate office so I think they made a mistake in processing my rejection. Apart from the lack of communication at the end, the interview process was overall positive and enjoyable.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had to make a difficult decision.
Very long process from application to getting a reply from the Hiring Manager. Generally get computer generated replies in email. Very stringent processes, though have applied for a couple, still unable to get replies
The interview process was fairly standard overall. It started with a recruiter screen, followed by a hiring manager interview and a few conversations with team members. The questions were mostly behavioral with some role-specific discussion. Communication was decent, though timing between steps could have been a little clearer.
This interview consists of two distinct parts, and the interviewer genuinely wants to understand your unique personality. Just remain calm, be yourself, and answer every single question with complete sincerity.
