First is a call with recruiter. Next is a call with the Hiring Manager. Then a Panel Interview with senior managers and director. The process can take 1-2 months depending on the time of year.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Typical interview questions. "Why Vrbo?" "Tell me about a time.."
I submitted my application through workday. The entire process of interviewing and hearing back after the final interview took longer than 1 month. The first interview was an online/ondemand interview through HireVue. The questions were related to the job posting and my previous job experience. The next interview was a 30 minute online 1x1 with a hiring manager, Again basic questions relating to previous job history and why I want to work at Expedia. After that was a final onsite, in person interview with a panel of 3 hiring managers. This interview took place in the office and was about 75 minutes long. The first part of the interview was a presentation based on a specific case study provided to you prior to the interview. This included questions about how you would segment your territory and how you would go about prioritizing and conducting outreach to the partners in your assigned territory. After the presentation portion, there was a Q&A section of the interview where the 3 managers took turns asking one question each related to Expedia's Values. Lastly there was a few minutes at the end dedicated to asking the hiring managers questions. After the final interview, I heard back from the recruiter in about 2 business days. Overall I had a positive experience with the interview process, my only complaint is that the process took over 1 month.
