I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Expedia Group (Geneva) in Nov 2017
Interview
I was contacted by an in house recruiter through Linkedin in November 2017. She proposed me the position in Geneva and asked for a telephone interview. However at the day of interview, I waited a long time but never got contacted. After I sent a mail, she told me she forgot and asked to arrange for another day. At the second time, just few minutes before the interview, she told me she was too occupied and asked for another day again. Finally, the third time I got the telephone interview and after she sent me some test. It took around 2 weeks to get feedback after submitting the test. Then I got an interview with my potential future manager. The interview was OK and he said I could contact him if I had any questions after.
However, I had wrote 3 mails and never got feedback neither from the HR nor the manager.
It's surprise to see some many people have the same experience that their HRs forgot the RDV as well. It's really dispointing and unprofessional. I cannot imagine how a big company like this will work in this way.

What types of data management tool I have used before?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Expedia Group (New York, NY) in Jun 2022
Interview
Call with a recruiter for 30 mins after I applied.
Starts with a simple SQL test. Followed by 5 rounds of interviews with the team including the hiring manager. It was a mix of technical and behavioral questions. Overall pretty easy if you prepare properly.
After grueling rounds of interviews, I never heard back from the recruiter even after following up with him. I think it speaks a lot about the culture at Expedia.
Web test with some simple math questions to test analytical skills, then a remote interview with several questions about background, skills, interests. Usual behavioral questions about what would you do in certain situations.

Interview
The most unprofessional HR team I've ever seen over 10 years of my career in Europe and US. I agree with multiple comments here, - can HR person has some decency and spend few minutes saying that you are not accepted?? Never heard from them after the final interview! Terrible organization of the interview process in general. I applied in December and two-three weeks later I received the first email from HR where she introduced herself with "Hi there!" and saying that she wants to have a call the next day. So unprofessional! I might be interested in a role, but I still have a job! How about asking about my availability?
The first call with two people from the team was scheduled relatively quickly, but then nothing for a week. When I provided my availability for the last interview, it took more than a week to arrange it. HR never explained what I should expect during the interview and how it's usually structured. I sent 3 follow up emails, but no response! A coordinator scheduled the last interview. Overall, it was a nice conversation with three people, 45 minutes each with multiple situational questions. I understand that I might not be the right fit for the team, but I have never been in a situation where HR would not notify you of their decision. Thanks for waisting my time! I'll never apply for this company again!
