I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Exelon (Chicago, IL) in Sept 2012
Interview
I went through two interviews (one via phone, one in person). The phone interview was straight forward. Within a week, I was offered an in person invite.
This was one of the most rigid interviews I've been to - the questions were all 4 or 5 sentences long with various parts. It was tough to answer completely and thoroughly. On more than one question, we had to skip it and move on to the next. I suggest listening very clearly and if possible, take notes on the keywords within the questions - it will help you greatly.
The great part was that my interviewers were very nice about the complexity of the interview questions and the entire process. They were also very informative about why I didn't get the job (came in second place) and what I could change about my interviewee style. I enjoyed this interview for its overall value.

Question 1
I was asked to look at the job description once more and pick out a few aspects of the job in which I did NOT have any experience.
Star interview format with standard questions. HR folks were very communicative the whole way. Interviewers included hiring manager and a peer. Both were open about the position and weren't too hung up on the structure of the STAR responses.

Question 1
Describe a workplace challenge you've faced and walk us through how you navigated it.

Interview
Steer clear because they use the useless star method. Very little of the interview was about my actual abilities. Overall a very slow process and expect to be given false timelines on top of being ghosted by both HR and hiring managers.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you overcame a difficult situation.
It used the STAR process. It was primarily behavioral questions and not many technical ones. They typically will interview you again and ask the more technical after-behavioral questions. Overall, it was fine.
