I interviewed at Eurofins Genomics (Milton Keynes, England)
Interview
The interview was easy overall.
One of the interviewers( lady) wanted to give me a handshake however I politely declined and stated that it was due to religious reasons. I guess that didn’t sit well with her.
I was interviewed by 3 people(one of them was remote on teams) and as the interview was progressing I see a message popping up on the screen and it was writing “I am not enjoying this” I pretended that I didn’t see however that got me thinking that it could be that the interviewers present on-site didn’t like me at all. Especially after refusing the handshake politely. Or it could be the interviewer on Teams. Either way I guess I will never know.

What’s is best. Being a good communicator or a good listener?
It was a short phone call and the interviewer was sweet and asked the default interview questions. tell me about yourself, what are your strengths and weaknesses. why are you looking for a job, why do you want to work here
Es gab insgesamt zwei Termine. Das erste Termin erfolgt mit der Abteilungsleitung und der Gruppenleitung. Das zweite Termin war eine Art "Probearbeitstag". Eher einfache Fragen, typische Fragen über "Schwächen und Stärken".
