Really simple, just an informal chat going through your background and assessing your fit for the role. No requirement to prepare before interview. They will then explain how difficult the job will be mentally and physically so you are warned from the start.

This was one of the most uncomfortable interviews I’ve had in my career in recruitment. The interviewer (a senior man leading the process) used an aggressive, intimidating style the entire time — constant rapid-fire questions, “testing” on the spot, and a tone that felt more like trying to catch me out than understand my experience. He repeatedly pushed the idea that the job is purely about money and sales, and openly dismissed my view that recruitment is also about relationships, communication, and long-term trust — which is basic industry reality. Much of my experience and education was met with sarcasm or irony, which felt disrespectful and unprofessional. Instead of evaluating mutual fit, the interview felt like a power play. The overall vibe sold the company as a place driven purely by money, pressure, and hustle culture, with little regard for people. The office atmosphere matched that impression — employees looked disengaged and drained. I had several other processes at the same time, and this was the only one that felt toxic. Unless someone is only motivated by money and comfortable in a high-pressure, low-empathy environment, this is not a place I would recommend.
