I applied online. I interviewed at Epiphany Dermatology (Mission Hills, KS)
Interview
Overall very unprofessional experience. It's understandable that you want a good candidate for your clinic but if you give respect maybe you'll get it in return.
Interview consisted of a phone interview, virtual interview with staff, and in-person interview with the physician and receptionist/hiring manager at the time.
Physician running the clinic tried to lowball me by about $2000 below the minimum salary expectations they listed in the job description, When I politely called them out on it, they back tracked and said that they would honor the salary they had posted. Hiring manager also admitted that they stalked my socials during the virtual interview and brought up how we were from the same city along with a trip I had taken. To top it off, after the in-person interview the physician asked if I could submit 3 references to review and submit a drug screening. I happily obliged and then was sent a generic rejection notice through Indeed on the same day with no reason and no reply from the hiring manager. Ended up with a better opportunity at a bigger company and am not bitter. Just wanted to give this feedback so that maybe others who apply won't have the same experience.
phone call- very easy, five minutes and basic questions
asked for first time, what experiences will be helpful with the position, what my past manager would describe me as
was told the next interview would be in person and last four hours
Had to meet with the location supervisor and next level. Standard questions focused on customer service and patient care. Friendly and welcoming. Was able to meet with providers and staff to see work environment.
