First, the HR round went well. After that, I was given a take-home assignment with three days to complete it, which I submitted on time. I was then invited for a solution review discussion.
Unfortunately, the review was quite disappointing. The interviewers did not ask any questions about the solution itself and instead asked vague, unstructured questions. The main interviewer had very limited communication skills and hardly explained what was actually required. The second interviewer mostly observed the conversation and did not contribute much. At the end, he only commented that they were expecting “more modern Python practices,” without providing any concrete feedback or examples related to the submitted solution.
