Standard process, Hiring manager, operational tech screen then specialization tech screen. It was very clear that this was a smaller VAR that lacks the basic resources to qualify an experienced technical resource. I had to lead the interviewers during my third round because the interviewers were not asking technical qualification questions. I even asked if I addressed all of their question and concerns before closing the interview. Their response was yes, we've reviewed your background and credentials and believe you would be a great addition to our company. I was ghosted for 2 weeks after this interview. The recruiter said that the hiring manager was out. When I heard back from the recruiter It was stated that they didn't think I had the technical background to bill. I'm 25 year highly technical security architect that keeps active with current technologies. I strongly believe that these middle managers were intimidated by my background and expertise.
