Completed an online application, following that I had a 15 minute telephone interview and after this I was invited to an online interview over Zoom (this was due to coronavirus)
In both the telephone and Zoom interview I was asked what I knew about Energia, what do they do and what did I know about the grad programme. They asked about my experiences, skills, university projects and extra curricular things I did. In the Zoom interview I got quite a lot of questions based on teamwork, when have I worked with a difficult team member, conflicts in a team, leadership roles in a team etc so I would recommend having a few different teamwork type answers ready to use. I got asked what I knew about wind turbines as well, but that could have been due to saying I found them very interesting engineering structures.
In the Zoom interview I had to give a 5 min presentation on an engineering project I was involved in also. I felt the interview panel enjoyed my presentation and asked questions out of interest rather than just asking questions for the sake of it.
Overall a really positive experience with nice, friendly staff throughout. I got offered a job which I would have definitely taken but declined due to being offered a different job that I felt suited me better.
