**Interview Experience: Software Engineer Candidate**
The interview process was described as having three rounds:
1. A 30-minute introductory interview with technical and behavioral questions.
2. A 2-hour live technical assessment.
3. A system design interview with leadership and discussions about culture and team fit.
My experience ended after the first round. During the interview, I was asked a LeetCode-style problem similar to "Shuffle an Array." I was able to solve the problem and discuss my approach within the allotted time. The interviewer appeared satisfied with my solution and responses, and the conversation flowed naturally into discussing my background and learning more about the team's work.
One concern I had was that the interviewer seemed somewhat unprepared for the conversation, which made the interview feel less structured than I expected. Despite that, I remained engaged and showed genuine interest in the role and the company.
Two days later, I received a generic rejection email without any specific feedback. While I understand that companies cannot always provide detailed feedback, the outcome was surprising given how positively the interview appeared to go from my perspective.
Overall, I invested time preparing for the process and would have appreciated more transparency regarding the decision. Candidates considering the opportunity should be aware that they may not receive detailed feedback even after a seemingly successful interview.
Initial call had a small technical question that was easy. The interview involved an unmonitored interview question which pushed you to create a project using AI tools. It wasn’t difficult but it is important to focus on product/code quality.

Not a bad experience, would recommend people to read more interview process about SDE here, which is helpful for me. People are nice.
