After an initial meet-and-greet interview, the manager asked me to prepare a 30 minute presentation on a former project I had developed, and present the following week. I gave the presentation in front of the engineering team and answered questions afterwards, and while this application requirement was especially difficult for a entry-level software engineering position, everyone was very nice and relaxed and gave the process a more informal air.
