I had one phone screen and one on-site interview. The phone screen focused on my resume and background. The on-site interview included two sets of interviews (upper management, then direct management), lunch and then a benefits overview with the HR rep. The interview portions were in the STAR interview format, which I believe is standard across Lilly/Elanco. I encourage you to practice this format with somebody before your interview. It's easy to draws blanks and clam up, so have projects and experiences in mind in which you dealt with conflict, experienced failure/success, tried something new, etc. Do your research on the STAR format and you should be successful. One thing I would like to note is that this was the most professional and smooth interview experience I have ever had. After having to deal with handfuls of tardy/forgetful/unhelpful/unemphatic recruiters at other companies, it was a breath of fresh air to speak to people who were always accurate and on time, knew what they were talking about and did everything they could to make you feel comfortable. They could tell I was really nervous, and I noticed that they adapted to that. It made the experience so much more comfortable, and because of that I felt confident enough to perform in the interview even better than I had rehearsed.
