I had five interviews total, but almost all of them were digital.
1. It started with a phone interview with one of the two business partners.
2. The second interview was intended to be an in-person with the other business partner, but I was not available, so we did a GoToMeeting.
3. I made up for the 2nd as an in-person with one of the business partners and a team member in my role, to show some work and get a much better sense of how I'd fit skill and culture-wise.
4. I had a phone interview with someone in a position senior to my role, to get a sense of the types of projects and tasks I'd have, as well as what my professional growth might look like.
5. My final was a code review done over Skype with the senior technical team member. I was most nervous going into this interview because I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was actually a very enjoyable meeting, to assess what technical skills I had and to give them a sense of what technologies I wanted to be more exposed to.
The rest of the communication was over email.
