I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Egan-Jones Ratings (Haverford, PA) in Jan 2021
Interview
I specifically had an interview with a VP. Had an in depth conversation about why credit rating, what about their company seemed good to me, what I hoped to learn, etc.
It was all a very casual conversation. Afterwards was told they would get back to me, and then just never heard back. I'm guessing they just forgot.
Overall, I'm glad it worked out this way, since it seems like they only hire foreign nationals who need visa sponsorship, in order to trap them at the company
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Egan-Jones Ratings (New York, NY) in Mar 2021
Interview
Standard interview with some analyst, manager and directors. Seem like friendly people, asked some technical questions like what factors go into a Moody’s research report, what ratios and metrics. Why do you want to work at Egan Jones etc.

Question 1
Why do you want to work at Egan Jones?
Why credit ratings
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Egan-Jones Ratings (New York, NY) in Mar 2019
Interview
Contacted by headhunter in March 2019 and shortly thereafter did a phone screen and in person interviews. The interviews were nothing special in terms of questions, mostly regard to fit and culture and general understanding of credit. Followed with another phone interview. No feedback for two months before being given a lowball, verbal offer which I verbally accepted. The headhunter and HR dragged their feet and kept me on read for three months before telling me to complete take home assignment before they’d give me an offer. By then I had more appealing offers and I grew tired of being strung along. Ok company that is growing but not sure why this process was so dysfunctional
