long online application, take your time, answer in detail. also connect with current RA's
be mindful of the company you keep. if you are friends with people who get into trouble alot you may not get the role.
interactive group interview day where all candidates 100+ and all previous RA's and building directors get together . There are games, team building exercises and simulations real world scenarios, that mimic building and student emergencies.
if you survive group process day then expect 2 to 3 personal interviews. you could have 1 to 3 people interviewing you at the same time.
if extended the offer you will free housing with one of the 5 buildings in NYC and a bi-weekly stipend
you are excepted to work a administrative desk anywhere between 65 to 90 hours a month , as well as weekly mandatory on call shifts (overnight with a crisis phone) , weekly team meetings, creating and hosting 2 events each month for building and additional ongoing task of your choosing to improve quality of students in the building

marshmallow castle construction
the floor is lava (get bucket out of lava with rope out of center of floor with 15 other people)
behind closed doors (random crisis situations)
each activity is followed by a group discussion

Informal group interview process. That involved being broken up into groups and put into challenges to see what each person had in terms of creativity, responsibility and leadership. Then individual interviews the following day.

Interview
Group interview for a full day with all the candidates broken into teams testing how you work with others on various job related tasks. This is followed by an in-person interview the next day with 2 Residence Directors who may, or may not, become your boss.
