      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Edmentum (Bloomington, MN) in Oct 2014

      Interview

An hour long first interview with questions about your content area and situations where you excelled/failed. An hour long second interview with more detailed questions. An assessment where you must describe how you'd answer/teach content and then "code" it using their format.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

How would you teach <enter specific content question>?

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Edmentum

      Interview

There was a brief phone interview with the recruiter, followed by a longer interview with manager and math skills test. The interview was scheduled about a week after I submitted my resume and the process moved very quickly. The position was advertised as a contract position, but seemed structured more as a work-at-home employee. Interviewers were friendly and wanted to find candidates who would be a good fit.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Typical questions such as 'Why do you want to work here' and questions about specific technical skills.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Edmentum (Remote, OR) in Feb 2015

      Interview

There were 4 phases: a phone screen, an interview with a potential peer, a test, and an interview with a supervisor. Both the interview with the potential peer and the interview with the supervisor asked almost identical questions. Both were reading from a script and it was VERY apparent. Even when a question had already been answered through previous discussion they still asked the question.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Questions were typical interview questions. There was nothing unexpected.
