First step was an over the phone interview. Pretty basic stuff.
The next step was an in-person interview, which was two parts:
The first part consisted of speaking with a few different people I would be working with and getting a sense for fit and culture. My would-be manager was there, and they all seemed like genuinely good, and cool people. Asked good questions, and sincerely seemed to have an interest in my life and capabilities.
The second part, they bring in a high level employee to go over my qualifications. This was the rudest man I'd ever met in my life. He was patronize me any chance he got, and didn't give a damn about how qualified I was. He openly criticized me for being a job-jumper, even though I've only worked for 3 companies in 9 years. Very bizarre, and I did not want to work there after that. Obviously he's the office bully.
Edgenet, you should get rid of this A-hole. Not a person you want to represent the company in any capacity.
