Applied for the job through LinkedIn. Got a call from HR and spoke to the HR for more than 30 mins about my experience and answered initial questions. HR informed me that position needs to be filled ASAP and they will set up the call with the management. After two days got a call from the same HR post working hours at night on scheduling the interview the next day. The interview was good. People were respectful asked important questions and were knowledgeable in their respective fields.
Now here is the important part. Post the interview I called up the HR and told how the interview went. HR told me they interviewing other candidates too and HR will get back to me once they get feedback on my interview so they can set up the last call with the CEO.
I called up the HR in few days and requested that whatever may be the outcome please let me know. Post which I also sent an email to which I haven’t received any response.
The total number of applications were more than 600 so I am assuming I was among the selected candidates for the process. Hence its basic manner to let the candidate know that he/she is not selected.
A basic professionalism and empathy will go a long way.
