4 rounds. Initial HR screening. 2 technical rounds and 1 HR round.
The technical rounds were focussed on my expertise, development and what I would contribute at Eaton.
The HR round was leaned towards the fit in the organisation and culture.
I applied online. I interviewed at Eaton in Jun 2025
Interview
I had four round of interview for this role. First, a recruiter called me on phone to review my resume and eligibility for this job and expected salary. Then, I had an interview session with hiring manager asking some STAR questions and discussing tasks and working environment. The next round was with HR manager which was a friendly chat to make sure that I'm aligned with the company policies and teams. Finally, I had a technical interview with a manager and chief engineer which was quiet challenging. They asked me a lot of design questions and fortunately I could answer most of them. All of the interviews were online for me because the interviewers were at different locations. Overall, four rounds of interview with different people was a bit frustrating and stressful but all interviewers were friendly and nice.

What do you do when a product fails the performance test?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Eaton (Southfield, MI) in Mar 2025
Interview
Applied through referral. The recruiter reached out for a phone screen (45 mins), then had a video interview with the hiring manager (1 hr), and then a panel interview followed by an interview with different colleagues (4-4.5 hrs).
Although I didn't get the offer, had a really positive interview experience. Was a seriously great role, with great people.
