      Cloud Operations Engineer Interview

      1 Oct 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Burlington, MA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ETQ (Burlington, MA)

      Interview

I was initially contacted by the company’s recruiter to discuss my experience. Phone call with recruiter went well. A week later I had a technical phone interview with a member of the team that went well. The recruiter then reached out via email to schedule a phone interview with the director because the technical interview went well. Prior to the interview with the director I emailed the recruiter to ask the meaning of the interview, so I can prepare. No response from the recruiter. I felt that was rude and unprofessional. About two weeks later, I had the phone call with the director which was general conversation. I followed up shortly after with a thank you and to discuss my candidacy. Radio silence, nothing from the recruiter. Also, a third party recruiter contacted me shortly after to discuss the same role and company, which was awkward after I informed her I wrapped up interviews with the company a week prior. She mentioned my background was perfect for the role.Unprofessional hiring process.
