I was reached out by an ECA recruiter via LinkedIn for a CTO opportunity in a startup, located in San Diego, CA. Part of the initial process required me to set up an initial 30 min call on their calendar. And so I went ahead and scheuled a time-slot. Guess What ? I received a call 15 mins prior to the scheduled date/time that the recruiter is not available and that we will have to push it to Jan 2020.
And here I am waiting anxiously for that golden call. It was a huge turn-off!!
So I got back to the recruiter saying that I will pass on, as clearly we did not have a good start.
Give me a break !! U r a recruitment firm and you don't have a recruiter available to give a call as per the time scheduled by your calendar.
Please shut down your business !! If you want to hire Talented CTO, learn to respect his/her time. Thanks,
