I had two phone interviews with EAB, each for different positions. Both went smoothly and I was told both times that I would be contacted in the next week or so with next steps. Both times I heard absolutely nothing back. I tried emailing, calling, reaching out on LinkedIn, but absolutely nothing. I don't understand why they can't just let me know they went with someone else--that should be a common courtesy, especially when they say they'll let you know either way. Also, the fact that they did this twice, months apart, is just a huge red flag for ever working there. After it happened the second time, I knew I would never consider working for them anyway, since this is likely indicative of their dysfunctional company culture.
