I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Dutch Bros. (Roseburg, OR) in Aug 2011
Interview
Talking to managers from your car or walk up. They like to get to know you as a person. They'll ask about your availability, other jobs, interests and hobbies. Pretty casual, laid back style. No real official interview, but I do know that other cities hold hiring events and will do group interviews.
Super relaxed and nice people. Definitely come with a great personality and open mindset. Prepare to come with experiences from previous jobs to speak to. Not very intimidating if you bring the right energy and mindset.
There was a first round interview with multiple candidates and four interviewers, and a final round with the Operator at our stand. The first interview can be tricky since there are many candidates. Ultimately, they look for people who are very genuine and kind.
The interview is a fairly relaxed process. You should dress appropriately, but definitely okay to dress on the more casual side. Most of the questions are based on your personality.
