I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Dose (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Interview process seemed unnecessarily long. Took about 2 months between applying and hearing from the company. First scheduled a phone interview, which took about 15 minutes. Several days later, scheduled an in person interview that took about 2 hours. Phone interview was only with HR, in-person interview was with HR, then Content VP, and finally Productivity Manager. All three asked the same questions, so it was quite repetitive. Content VP was noticeably hurried and came across a bit rude, like they had better places to be. Wasn't a great conversational environment. HR person and Productivity Manager were quite nice, easy to speak with. Office is easy enough to find, convenient off the brown / purple line. If you drive, be prepared to pay about $20-30 for parking (which they do not reimburse). I received an offer later in the week, but declined. The company is relatively new and I just did not feel that the company was very organized or that working for the VP of Content would be a good fit, as they were not very personable in the interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions were all very basic, just clarifying past experiences. Asked about accomplishments you're proud of, how you've overcome challenges in the past, how you rectified a mistake. Very basic interview questions, just be prepared to answer them 2 or 3 times over. They talk a great deal about themselves as well, and most of the questions were asked in the phone interview, as well as the in-person.
