I had 6 calls in total prior to receiving a verbal offer. (Screening call - hiring manager interview - panel of 3 - follow up call from a recruiter)
Very positive throughout the process, everyone was on time and seemed really engaged in the conversations. All of them allowed 5 mins+ to answer my questions.

They reached out to me (cold) for a phone screen and then didn’t reply to set up availability until I reminded them. I asked for a job description and was ignored. The phone screen switched to a zoom call and he dove into interview questions - a pre interview to decide if he wanted to interview me. I found it to be really pompous, and disrespectful of my time - like they liked to catch people off guard.

How can DoorDash improve given the sample data set?
Poor interview process. Recruiter contacted me to chat. Informed me that they would be sending me an assessment to take and moving me on to the next steps. Ultimately recruiter did not send an assessment and after multiple follow-ups, got ghosted. Company has a reputation of ghosting you mid-process, buyer beware.
