Interview
Had an initial screening with a recruiter. Then the recruiter scheduled a 30 min interview with the hiring manager. After that, I was sent data and needed to complete a case study within 72 hours. After the hiring manager reviewed the case study, I had 3 more 30 min interviews with cross team members and then 2 more 30 min interviews with actual team members. After passing that round, I spoke with the VP of marketing for another 30 mins.

They reached out to me (cold) for a phone screen and then didn’t reply to set up availability until I reminded them. I asked for a job description and was ignored. The phone screen switched to a zoom call and he dove into interview questions - a pre interview to decide if he wanted to interview me. I found it to be really pompous, and disrespectful of my time - like they liked to catch people off guard.

How can DoorDash improve given the sample data set?
Poor interview process. Recruiter contacted me to chat. Informed me that they would be sending me an assessment to take and moving me on to the next steps. Ultimately recruiter did not send an assessment and after multiple follow-ups, got ghosted. Company has a reputation of ghosting you mid-process, buyer beware.
