I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Dollar Tree (Brownsville, TX) in Feb 2020
Interview
The interview was very unprofessional. They didn't even have a formal sit down with me. I walked in and the manager took me to the back and was basically moving storage around while she was talking to me. When I applied for the job, the job description said "part-time" but then the interviewer told me it was "seasonal" and that'd I would essentially be working 40+ hours for graveyard shifts. I don't even remember any formal interview question other than "how old are you?" Overall, I was disappointed because it was very misleading and I was essentially lied to about the job description.
Came in and asked for the store manager. He took me into the office and asked a few questions. Questions : Why do you want to work for Dollar Tree? Do you know anyone that works here? How you deal with Multi-tasking? How you deal with pressure?
Got the job. (Mainly through Nepotism).

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Dollar Tree (Tequesta, FL) in Jan 2026
Interview
Went to interview and was nervous about answering questions for the job and depending on how I answer them. That would determine if I get the job or not. But it wasn’t like that at all. The store manager was super friendly and straight forward with everything. Applying was super easy online.
Very simple and easy was hired on the spot. More like a friendly conversation than an interview, was 30min-1hr long. Given tour of store and full run down of responsibilities
