      Interview

I’m assessing fit and mindset: Can you take correction? Are you calm under pressure? Do you respect the dog as a living being with limits? Then there’s discipline and responsibility. I’ll ask about: Daily care routines (feeding, grooming, health checks) Record-keeping and following protocols Willingness to train consistently—even when it’s boring or hard Dog handlers don’t get “off days” just because they’re tired.
