I went through an extremely long and exhausting interview process with Ditto Insurance, involving multiple rounds over nearly a month. Despite clearing all the rounds and receiving positive feedback throughout, I was informed at the very end that I "do not align well with the role." If the company was unsure about my fit, it should have been clear much earlier, rather than wasting a candidate’s time, energy, and hope. This shows a serious lack of respect for applicants and a clear failure in their hiring judgment. Candidates deserve transparency and professionalism.

The recruitment process begins with the submission of a Video CV, followed by a Group Discussion, two Task rounds, and ultimately, a final interview. One positive aspect is that they manage to complete the entire process within a span of two weeks. However, even if you advance to the final round, it’s wise to prepare for disappointment; the experience often feels more like a formality than a genuine evaluation. During the final interview, the recruiter joined 15 minutes late , which sets a rather unprofessional tone. The questions they asked were the most tangential and irrelevant, supposedly aimed at gauging your "vibe" under the pretext of finding a perfect cultural fit. I was particularly taken aback when, in the penultimate round, I was asked about my favorite dish—a question that felt out of place if you talk from a professional perspective. After the final interview, I was told that I'll be informed of the outcome within 3-4 days. However, this timeframe stretched into 4-5 additional working days they are claimed they were evaluating candidates further. Despite repeated follow-ups, it felt like hitting a brick wall each time and ultimately, you find yourself receiving a regret email story. Stop wasting time.
