The interview process started with me applying online. A day later I already scheduled an initial phone interview. After that, I scheduled a technical phone interview with an Android developer at Discord. Shortly after that, I moved to the next step of the process, which was an on-site interview.
My experience in the on-site interview was very positive. I had a room reserved to me for the whole day and had all my interviews there. I had three technical interviews, one architecture + Java design question, and two Android related. During my on-site interview I was also asked to pick a restaurant I would go with the team to eat lunch. I also went for 15 minute walk with a manager to talk about myself (and video games).
Overall, I had a very positive experience. Discord was one of the friendliest companies I interviewed for. I also really liked the team. I found it funny how everyone, including the manager, are so into video games!
I ended up rejecting the offer, which was competitive, because I wanted to live with my family.
