First there was a hiring manager round, after that there was a take home assignment. After clearing the assignment there are 2 more rounds one is assignment deep dive and other is system design. Overall interview process is easy. The problem is their compensation range especially for Indians. I have completed my round and just before my final system design round, the HR contacted me and asked my current salary and asked expected salary. They are not even willing to offer same salary, I told her I don't want to move ahead in the interviews. She really persuaded me to complete the loop as there is only one round pending as she will get back with updated numbers. After clearing the final round , she offered me lesser than what she quoted just before final round(I had strong hire in every round). Then suddenly she ghosted, when I tried to reach out to her, I got to know she left company. There was no on else got assigned. I have to go to the linkedin and asked every interviewer about the status, after waiting for 2-3 weeks new hr got assigned. She had no idea what last hr committed and gave even lower numbers. Totally disappointed. Finally rejected the offer. They are playing hard on layoff feeling and will try to lowball as much as possible.
