The process was about like the interview process at any other company. However, I had an extremely negative experience. I don't know what to make of the experience that I had or the person that I interviewed with. I was offered the job, and the offer was pulled when I disclosed that I have a disabled child, and asked to negotiate the number of days in office. The firm operates on a hybrid schedule and I felt that it was ok to ask about negotiating the days in-offce so that I could care for my child. The rug was pulled out from under me and I could not get an explanation. I did nothing inappropriate. I can only conclude that the firm has a bias against the disabled, or caregivers of the disabled.
