Met with 3 people in a panel interview - was asked mostly canned questions like the obviously coined "What are you curious about Diageo? " and the very uncomfortable and inapproriate " how do you celebrate?"
This was a company staffed with mostly under 30 year olds and an open office environment if you like that.
Although I met all qualifications easily and had a background ready to step into the role, I felt my age - low 50s - was looked at with disdain.
After 5 weeks now, I still have not gotten a rejection, an offer or a "never come back" email.
This appears to be a place you need to be young and one who likes to partake in their product offerings – drinking – to meet their qualifications.
No excuse for not having the manners to send me a rejection letter
