I applied through some consultancy. I received the call from HR very next day. I clearly told the HR my expectations and she said thisis fine with them. My interview was arranged in weekdays.I reached there at 10 and after10 mins my interview started. First Round - Basic java and collections related questions. Some questions related to spring and hibernate. 2nd round - This was most detailed one. They asked me about the project that I am working on and then questions around the technologies used and data strucutres. Caching techniques, Angular and web related questions. 3rd round - I had to waitfor 30 mins for the HR. HR came to ask my about my education details, why i am leaving current company and all other questions that are asked by HR when you are shortlisted. I also thought this was the case. But on knowing my expectation, she said it is high. I asked her, why have you arranged my interview when i clearly mentioned my expectation and you also said that there is no problem.She kept on asking if it can be negotiate and then told me to wait, Again I had to wait more than half an hour, then their HR head came and apologized for delay. Then i was told, there will be further rounds. 4th round - It was related to design problems with the architect. They have some website and he was asking me how will you design it. Some questions related to db and microservices. 5th round - Again had to wait for more then 30 mine like their apology was never meant to be true. It was with some director who was wearing flippers. He asked about angulaJS and web. 6thround- had to wait for 20 mins. It was with thier MD. He asked me about some caching problems. Performance related problems. Some questions related to team working, how will handle rift etc. After discussion he told me that they have budget constraints and will let me know if they can afford it. So basically they will accept your conditions first but will then backout. Don't go there with much expectations
