The hiring process in Deutsche Bundesbank is a self choosing process. On one hand, you have to need the chance to know some people from insides the bank. That is really my experience. A lecture with the researcher from the bank gave me this opportunity to do a research internship. After you submit the application, you have to prepare for the academic questions that will appear in the interview. You dont need to know everything, but you have to have a good logic.
