I applied online. I interviewed at Delta Air Lines in Oct 2014
Interview
I started my application process on Aug 26. I did the online application and a couple of days later I received an email asking for to officially apply. I did the official application and waited about a week and was than asked to do the online interview. I waited a day to gather my thoughts and think over possible questions so that I would have scenarios from past experiences. Make sure that when you do the online interview that you are in a quiet place with good lighting. After that I waited about a week later saying that I made it to the next round and that someone would contact me within 7-10 business days. 10 days later I got my phone call. I was asked if I was ok with the duties of being a flight attendant, if I had any tattoos, would I be ok with the training schedule. Of course I was ok with all of that! I was told that I would get an email with available dates about a week later. I got my email and picked my date.
On Oct 3. I went to my F2F. I flew in early in the morning and was grateful for the time before the interview to grab breakfast and go over my notes and calm my nerves. I arrived at Delta about an hour before my interview time of 12:30. The lobby already had about 10 people waiting. It was nice to mingle with the fellow candidates and get to know each other. After everyone had arrived. A senior flight attendant came and introduced himself along with some other fellow employees. Our names were called out and thats when we were split up into our groups of A, B, C. The interview is a 3 part process. The day in the life of a flight attendant, fireside chat and the 2 on 1 interview. I was in group C so my interview was last. When you first get into the room, you will meet some of the current flight attendants and staff from HR. Take your time to get to know everyone even if its just greeting them and saying hello. You will get plenty of time to talk to everyone between sessions. At the end of the day, they let everyone know that some people will be asked to stay behind, and that if your name is not called it does not mean you have not been given a job offer, its not a no till you get the letter saying so. I was overwhelmed when my name was called, it was so surreal! We were taken to another room where we began our paperwork for our CJO.
The biggest advice I can give anyone going to the F2F is to honestly be yourself. Be sincere and be genuine. Do not interrupt anyone, you will get your turn!! Be sure to ask questions and be engaged. They can tell who is being genuine and those that are trying to hard. Remember the STAR format!!! Do not forget this! Good luck to everyone :)

Question 1
Tell me a time you went above or beyond for a customer. Tell us a time you were asked to be dishonest at work.
I am currently in the interview process for the FA position and have reached the ODV part of it. Most of the questions are expierenced based, so I would recommend just thinking of the times you have exceeded the customer service baseline before hand.
