I interviewed for the role of community manager in July. The role was presented as a mix of Marketing and Sales and as a super cool and excited role. I passed the screening and did the on-site interview with the country managers here in Dublin. The interviewers just kept asking me the same questions he asked me on the phone and only when I got the chance to ask questions I discovered that this is a sales role and has nothing to do with marketing. You will simply be talking to restaurants trying to convince them to work with Deliveroo. Useless to say that they never got back in touch with me to let me know about the interview. I followed up with the interviewer and never got an answer. Very unprofessional and very arrogant attitude! You are not selling gold and you are not Google so please be more humble!
