Had a recruiter reach out to me directly after finding my resume online to formally submit for the position and complete a personality assessment. They'd reached out to the references listed immediately, but never followed through on setting up the interview. There was some logistics of getting their PM or team lead schedule to proceed, I followed up for clarification on the anticipated timeline and then communication dropped. Wasn't fond of having my references be contacted for essentially nothing, since there was no formal interview with the hiring team, seems like a front heavy recruiting process.
