I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Davis & Floyd (Greenville, SC) in Feb 2025
Interview
The interview was very pleasant. Flowed more like an engaging and productive conversation than a typical interview. While the company didn't specifically match my needs, the people were very down to earth and easy to talk to.

Question 1
How would your friends/peers describe you in three words?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Davis & Floyd (Charleston, SC)
Interview
They took me out to lunch to interview me. It went well. They asked me questions about my experience that related to the work that they do. They then went on to tell me that they would create a position for me in a different area of the company (Environmental vs. Civil). HR told me that they would be in touch very soon. Then I never heard back from them. Rude enough to never get back but even more so when they lead me on to think they would extend an offer.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Davis & Floyd (Columbia, SC) in Jun 2013
Interview
Started with a phone interview and was followed up by two face-to-face interviews. The first interview took place outside of the office, which was nice - more laid back and casual. This interview as with the person who would be my immediate supervisor. The second interview was with the company president and a couple of other officers of the firm.
